1. People can be evil just as much as they can be kind. Absolute good never exists.
2. I do believe Maslow's hierarchy of Needs is true. With the lack of physiological needs, self-esteem, love, security, self-achievement cannot exist. Sounds like bullshit when you are thinking about Mother Theresa, idk,, some other "Good" people, but do you think you can be really happy if ur tummy is empty and growling? Face it. because you have basic necessaries, you can get higher level of happiness.3. No matter how smart you are, how nice you are, how moral you are, well lets just say how PERFECT you are, if you jump into the business of politics, you WILL BE CORRUPTED. Sad but true. No politician is crystal clean. the pool of politics is like the pool of dirty water. No matter how clean you are, if you dip your self into the water, you will get dirty.
4. In terms of love, APPEARANCE does matter. can you deny it? Well, of course it's not everything but doesn't it matter at all? ask yourself.
5. The reality of "Melting Pot" is wayyyyyy different from what people think. Just because they are together, that doesn't mean they are melting together. Well it is understandable. The fear of difference is as natural as the attachment to the same.
6. Catholic Church is still conservative. Just because they stopped witch hunting, that doesn't mean they started to recognizing other religions as "religion". They pretend like they are understanding other religion, but for them, in the deep mind, non-Christian religion is still heathenism. If they have enough power in reality, they WILL take over the world in the name of CRUSADE just like it was in the history. well, it doesn't have to be physical. Think about Church's stand about gay people. They say "Oh, they are just people just like us and they are also God's people." and they abhor physical attack. However, let's see what the Pope Benedict said speaking a day after a California court ruled in favour of same-sex marriage. He firmly restated on Friday the Roman Catholic Church's position that "only unions between a man and a woman are MORAL". So if you are gay, you cant get married? even though they recognize gay people, well ok. I'm gay, so let's say Church recognize me as one of God's people, but I can't get married?
Why does being gay mean IMMORAL? Since when the Church had the power of banning people from getting married? Hello, wake up. People still got married even before there was Christianity. So people who were married before the Christianity are not really married? because the Church didn't recognize it?
another example, in the story about the city of Sodom, homosexuality is one of the sins that people in Sodom were committing. Wow, this is where the people say "BURN IN THE HELL YOU FAGGOT" come from.
I do value the Bible as a historical and cultural importance. But do u seriously believe every single line in the Bible is absolute true? Come on now. It is a sacred LITERATURE. There are some exaggerations and "just stories" to teach people moral lesson.
So, anyway, no matter how the Church says "we understand gay people", you gotta know it's hypocritical bullshit. Since the beginning of the world, something different from the majority has always been hatred and wronged. This is just another example of it.
God made me gay, because no one else did! but you are saying I'm wrong because I'm not in the majority? If it's sinful to be gay and TRY to get married with another MAN, why did God create gay at the first place?
For sure, my mom's biggest mistake was to baptize me to catholic. Why should i give a crap about what they are saying if they deny me?
7. I'm against abortion because it's wrong, not judging from the crappy church saying, but from really logical flow of thinking. The only reason I'm in Pro-life club is because i think no matter what happened to the parents (well, immature girl and immature boy), whether it was MISTAKE or not, baby shouldn't get PUNISHED from his/her parents fault. That's all. Abortion is wrong not because the Church said so but because babies didn't do anything wrong and should not get charged from what their crappy parents did. Don't you think it's more grasping than saying "the Church said from the moment of conception, it's a living person!"
I don't give a crap about when do the sperm and egg become a "person". If they met, they would be baby.
Ok, some people call themselves as "Pro-Choice". But the life is not about Choice. No how miserable can the baby and his family be if the baby is born, you gotta get over it, if you don't have the gut to get the baby, you shouldn't fuck without protection at the first place. If you think you are "Pro-Choice", you are WRONG. Doesn't give a crap about what you believe because it's not a discussion but im stating a fact. well, Pro-Choice people sometimes say both parents and baby will be miserable if the family can't afford to have an "unwanted" child or some other reasons. The Church answers to this like "there's no such thing like unwanted child. Everybody is children of God." Well, sorry but there is such thing like unwanted child. God may want them, but their parents may not.
abortion is OK if the family can't afford to have a baby?, haha ridiculous.
Do you think your parents can ERASE you if they can't afford you anymore?
isn't it same? you are just grown baby. it's just matter of time.
